Ti-Black Finish Stainless Steel Sheet
Ti-black finish on stainless steel sheet has two different processes: water plating and electroplating. Water plating is carried out in a chemical electrolyte. Through the accumulation of anions and cations under the action of electric charges, the electrolytic ions with black color gather on the surface of the stainless steel plate, thereby forming the color of black titanium. Electroplating is to form a dense oxide film through the reduction reaction between metal ions in a vacuum plating environment, thereby forming the color of black titanium. The color of water plating is darker than that of electroplating, and the adsorption force of particles on the surface of electroplating is stronger. There is no difference in the use of the plates of the two processes, and both have good reflective effects.

Will PVD Stainless Steel Sheets Fade?
The durability of PVD stainless steel sheets is generally high, and they are designed to resist fading over time. While PVD coatings provide excellent resistance to wear, scratches, and corrosion, it’s essential to consider a few factors that may affect the appearance of PVD sheets over time:
Environmental Exposure: Though stainless steel is resistant to
environmental factors, prolonged exposure to harsh conditions, such as extreme
UV radiation, pollution, or abrasive elements, may contribute to gradual color
changes or fading.
Quality of Coating: The quality of the PVD coating can vary
depending on the manufacturing process and materials used. High-quality PVD
coatings are more likely to maintain their color and appearance over an
extended period.
Maintenance and Cleaning: Proper maintenance and cleaning practices
can impact the longevity of PVD finishes. Using abrasive or harsh cleaning
agents may compromise the coating over time. Regular, gentle cleaning with mild
soap and water is typically recommended.
In general, the performance of PVD
finish can be influenced by environmental conditions and maintenance practices.
Color options for PVD Finish Stainless Steel Sheet
Stainless steel sheets are typically available in a natural metallic color, which is silver finish. However, decorative stainless steel sheets can be treated or coated to achieve different colors or finishes, such as rose gold, champagne gold, black, blue, cooper for different applications.
